Welcome to TQSync. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our social media content management and publishing platform. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you provide to us, including but not limited to:

  • Payment information (processed securely through third-party payment processors)

Social Media Account Information

When you connect your social media accounts to TQSync, we collect and store:

  • OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens (encrypted)
  • Social media platform usernames and user IDs
  • Profile information from connected accounts (username, profile picture, bio)
  • Publishing permissions and scopes granted

Content Information

We collect and store:

  • Content you create, schedule, and publish through TQSync
  • Media files (images, videos) uploaded for publishing
  • Scheduling preferences and publishing history
  • Analytics and performance data for published content

Automatically Collected Information

  • IP address and browser type

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide Services: Publish content to your connected social media accounts

Social Media Platform Integration

Supported Platforms

TQSync integrates with the following social media platforms:

  • Facebook: We use Facebook Graph API to publish posts to your Facebook Pages
  • LinkedIn: We use LinkedIn Share API to publish posts to your LinkedIn profile
  • Threads: We use Meta Threads API to publish posts to your Threads account
  • Twitter/X: We use a Chrome Extension to assist with posting (no API access)

OAuth Authentication

When you connect a social media account, you are redirected to the respective platform's official OAuth authorization page. You explicitly grant TQSync permission to post content on your behalf. We never receive or store your social media passwords. Access tokens are encrypted and stored securely in our database.

Data Sharing with Social Platforms

We only share the content you explicitly choose to publish with the selected social media platforms. We do not share your personal information with social media platforms beyond what is required for OAuth authentication and content publishing.

WhatsApp Assistant

TQSync users (Think Quran affiliates) can connect their own WhatsApp Business number to TQSync through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (Embedded Signup). TQSync then answers their prospects' messages on their behalf with an AI assistant, and lets them read and reply to those chats.

What we receive and store

  • From the affiliate: the WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display number and verified business name, and an access token issued by Meta (stored encrypted).
  • From people who message the affiliate: their WhatsApp phone number, WhatsApp profile name and the text of their messages, plus the replies sent to them. We do not download images, voice notes or other media.
  • From people who fill in an affiliate's form and tick "Send me a WhatsApp message": the phone number and name they entered, and a record that they agreed (with the time and IP address of the submission).
  • Message templates the affiliate creates (follow-up messages) and their approval status.

How it is used

  • To reply to the customer automatically with information about Think Quran, using an AI model. The recent conversation is sent to the AI provider to write the reply (OpenAI, Anthropic or DeepSeek, depending on configuration). It is not used to train our own models.
  • To show the conversation to the affiliate who owns the WhatsApp number, notify them when a customer needs them, and let them reply or send an approved follow-up message.
  • Messages are only sent to customers who wrote to the affiliate first, or who ticked the WhatsApp box on the affiliate's form. Follow-up and welcome messages use templates approved by WhatsApp.

Retention and deletion

Conversations are kept while the affiliate's TQSync account and WhatsApp connection are active, so they can follow up with their prospects. They are deleted when the affiliate deletes their account or removes TQSync's access in their Meta/Facebook settings (Meta's data deletion request). A customer can ask the affiliate, or us at the address below, to delete their conversation at any time.

How We Protect Your Information

  • Encryption: All OAuth tokens and sensitive data are encrypted using industry-standard encryption
  • Secure Transmission: All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Access Controls: Strict access controls limit who can access your data
  • Regular Updates: We regularly update our security measures and dependencies
  • Token Management: Access tokens are automatically refreshed and expired tokens are removed
  • Audit Logs: We maintain detailed logs of all publishing activities

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account or disconnect a social media account, we delete associated access tokens immediately. Content and publishing history may be retained for up to 6 months for audit and support purposes, after which they are permanently deleted.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: You can access and review your personal information in your account settings
  • Update: You can update your personal information at any time
  • Delete: You can request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Disconnect: You can disconnect social media accounts at any time
  • Export: You can request an export of your data
  • Opt-out: You can opt-out of non-essential communications

Payment Processors

We use third-party payment processors to handle payments. We do not store your complete payment card information. Payment data is processed according to the payment processor's privacy policy.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using TQSync, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of TQSync after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
